Bit of a lengthy blog tonight but we have a lot to work through but first and foremost we wanted to touch base to make sure you are all doing okay? Please if you are struggling and would like to catch up for a coffee please yell – we are all here to support each other through okay 🙂 You all have my cell and email addy so go for gold if you need to!

I have had many emails/messages and calls over the weekend to ask if we are open and what my plan is. The answer is Yes we will be and in level 2 for us, it is business as usual. In regards to a plan like everyone we will take it day by day but most of all we will keep our normal regime up and we encourage each and every one of you to do the same.
In the midst of everything the best we can do is to remain in a normal routine as much as we can.
Like you all we are all concerned about the future, ongoing health risks, school closings, the economy and what will it mean for each and every one of us. But it is important most of all we remain calm and take each day as it comes.
For now please know my 2 main priorities are:
- Protecting members and staff
- Communicating with you all on a regular basis
How we keep the gym clean:
I know most of you spend a fraction of your week at the Club and you likely do not know the full breadth of what we do every day to keep our Club in top shape and protect you from germs but please be assured it is our top priority even more so now and our cleaning regime has been heightened in order to protect us all.
Towels: Having a towel is Non-negotiable. Please if you have no towel we have these to purchase for $15 at Front Desk or check in with us we as we do have a few spares floating around.
Wet wipes: We have these in all around the Club and we will do our best to ensure that they are all stocked up at all times however please let us know if you spot that they are low.
Drinking Fountain: Please refrain from putting the nozzle of the fountain inside your bottle. The nozzle must stay above the hole of your water bottle and must not touch!
All Spin Bikes, Equipment & Mats: Everything you touch must be wiped down after use.
Regular handwashing with soap: (for at least 20 seconds) or alcohol-based solution (at least 60% alcohol).
Covering coughing or sneezing: A reminder with a tissue or elbow (not your hand)
Avoid: Touching of eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
Sickness: Stay home if you are sick.
Travel or contact with those who have travelled: If you have been in Auckland in the last 14 days it is an absolute MUST that you must contact me directly before you enter the Club OR if you know of anyone who has been away please let me know. This goes for any friends or family visiting you. While this is hard to track it is important that we must all do the right thing, communicate.
Reminders for our Mental Health

My Final Message For Now
I would like to ensure you that we will be doing everything we can to ensure our health & safety here at the Club. We will be obsessively making sure that this one of the cleanest and safest places you could visit. We all understand that staying healthy is the best defence again getting sick. Exercise is one of our best defences to most diseases, so let’s work together to keep each and every one of us safe & active.
I will continue to keep you all updated as much as I can. Stay safe everyone.
Warm Regards Moo & Team
