Why we exercise at Bodyfix

We get asked a lot:
‘How do you all stay motivated day in and day out’
The truth is we aren’t always motivated! If you are privy to the Bodyfix Staffroom Banter at 5.45am then you would learn we are just like you, where we wake up and we don’t always feel like working, working out or doing anything actually!
So you see – lacking motivation is completely normal! 🥴

So how do we pull it together? 🤷🏾

Well support is a biggie and is one of the best ways to stay motivated!
This could be through:
➡️ Catching up with a Personal Trainer on a regular basis.
➡️Even meeting a friend who you can workout with!
Also if you focus on planning your work outs in your week it becomes a habit.
Focus on progress, try to set yourself a small goal every time you workout!
If you have a small goal that gives you something to work towards, it will help you to be more motivated in your workouts and this way you can track and try to improve!
So know you are not alone if you are feeling like hanging out in your pjs all day, we feel that to. 🥴

I exercise because I want to be the best possible version of myself.

To increase my confidence

To feel good & keep healthy ☺️

Going to the gym—or just exercising in general—is good for the immune system, can lower stress at a time when many are experiencing higher than normal levels of stress, isolation, and anxiety, and can provide a much-needed dose of social support and camaraderie

I exercise as it’s all I’ve known since competing in athletics at 5 years old, from there my addiction grew and haven’t been able to go to sleep unless I have done some form of cardio. Exercise has introduced me to the best of friends and experiences that never stop happening! Exercise has helped me keep on top of Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is 100% better through high intensity training which increases blood flow. The day exercise doesn’t feature in my day is when I’m on fire turning into ash.

To keep up with the kids

To be able to live independently (esp when I get old and grey)

To not be in pain

To catch up with my friends

To have fun

Exercise helps clear my mind & spark creativity

Exercise is the most under utilized happy drug there is.. 100% enjoy pushing the body

To age gracefully, prevention is better than cure..

I exercise because I love feeling strong, having energy and it helps me sleep, it also helps my mental health!

I exercise simply because I enjoy it and I feel so much better after.
